My Favirote Outdoor Activity

Authors note:  This activity is my favorite because it passes time and it's healthy. Everyone has a favorite activity and I pick this one.


  My favorite outdoor activities are running or walking. At the beginning of the year I hated running but now I like it a little more. I can’t  run very long but I can walk super far. I don't know the longest of farthest I have ever walked but every Saturday I walk for 45 minutes. I love to walk and starting to like to run. I like this because it is fun and a healthy activity.        

My Dream Vacation

Authors Note: everyone has a dream vacation and this is mine

I want to go to Peru! Even though Peru has great natural resources and many great places to go, the people live in poor conditions. There is a very big mountain in Peru called Machu Picchu that I would like to see its a big beautiful mountain. I would also like to explore the amazon rain forest because I would like to see what is there. Another thing I would like to do is hike the colca canyon.

 It is a huge canyon that I think would be really cool to hike.I  also wanna tour the floating islands of Titicaca in Peru because I would like to see them an it is a mass of ancient plants and mud that has not been touched in 100 years.  I also wanna fly over the mysterious Nazca lines because I would like to see them. They are mysterious lines that were drawn years ago  . 

I want to sand board in the sand dunes of haucachina because I would like to learn to  sand board . I want to surf in mancora because i would like to learn how to surf  I want to discover the sacred islands of the Incas because i would like to see them  I want to witness the wildlife of balleste island because I would love wildlife animals  I want to go sightseeing in Lima. because it would be cool to see things  and I want to trek the cordillera Blanca in huaraz.       

Christmas Trees

Authors note: My favorite part of Christmas are the Christmas trees.This is a fun thing to do because it is a good thing to do with your family's.  
My number 1 Favorite thing about Christmas is the tree. When I was little until I was about 6 and my mom and dad were married we would cut down a Christmas tree and take it home. My mom would always put the lights on and then i would put tinsel on the bottom of the tree and we would put ornaments on it. Six years ago my parents got divorced but for about the 4 years after that we still got Christmas trees me and my mom would do the same exact thing with her boyfriend and his kids but she didn't help as much.

My dad would take me to this place and I would decorate cookies and things there and they had horses that i would ride around and then we would feed buffalo and then we would take a 4 wheeler down to our tree and cut it down.

About 2 years ago my mom broke up with her boyfriend and she found a new one and me and my dad moved into an apartment. My dad and I bought about a three foot tree that we couldn't even decorate but i am OK with it my dad wont get a real tree because we don't have enough space. My mom and her boyfriends family and i  bought a 10 ft tree and we invite all the girls in our family and we get toppers pizza. It takes almost all day to decorate. I love Christmas but my favorite part are the Christmas trees

One by One

Authors Note:  Mysterious things are happening around Sunset valley. A small town in Arkinsas. Sadra, Nathan, and Felix all disappear unexpectedly.


Sandra and Nathan were driving down a deserted highway all the sudden lightning flashed thunder boomed and it started to down pour Sandra decided that they should stop so they did and slowly stopped and drove off the road into a ditch Nathan got out and was super nervous he looked at the car and it had a flat tire so Nathan decided to look for help Sandra locked the door and put her seat way back while she waited. after waiting for 5 hours Sandra got out of the car to go and look for Nathan. 

A week later Sandra's mom called the police she told them they were supposed to come up for Christmas but weren't answering there phone and how late they were the police were looking for 2 days before they found there car and the day later they found them deep in the woods disoriented and unable to talk, see, or hear the next day they both passed on. and nobody knew why.!

She summer after all this happened Felix Abner was on a foggy lake all by himself on a boat trying to get to his fathers lake house across the lake but the lake was huge he knew he would be traveling for at least a few hours but only an hour after his trip had begun he caught some seaweed on his motor as he got back he wondered why no one else was on the lake it was a beautiful day but as he was getting back on his boat something yanked him back a few days later his dad called the police and they found him 3 days later but not his boat the same thing happened to him

3 more similar occurrences happened in the city Sunset Valley what do you think has happened to all these people????????   

The Disgusting Stench of Asa Clark Middle School

Authors note: I wrote this story because we had to write a story and the smell going through school made me unable to focus so I just wrote about what was on my mind  
It was a nice cool day in Pewaukee Wisconsin when Isabelle Herdeman was sitting in social studies talking to her best friend Sara Gonzalez, and she was going on with her normal life . Mrs. Carrigan came on the announcements and said they new about the odor coming into the middle school and they were trying to get rid of it. I had no idea about this weird smell so i just shrugged my shoulders and went back to talking to Sara. When the bell rang i walked out into the hallway and it smelt so bad that I couldn't stand, it I ran right up the stairs. In the 7Th grade hallway that was all everybody was talking about the “the high schoolers got to go home but we didn't.  By the time we got to language arts i had a headache i was nausea, and my eyes were watering .Eerybody in language arts was and everyone said we would be going home too. It was chitter chatter surrounding every table of the Language arts room until Mr. Dual came on the speaker and said they had taken an air quality test and both schools were tested negative for toxic fumes. So the high schoolers got to go home for no reason. 4 people in my school threw up but everyone still had hope because Mr. Dual told our teachers to keep there e-mails open for any updates. At lunch all our teachers were telling our assistant principal how bad the smell was so everyone was thinking we were going to go home. By the time Spanish rolled around i had a very good feeling we werent going home. I hope that the horrible stench doesn't come back .   

They Never Came Home

I read the book they never came home by Lois Duncan, the first copyright date is 1969, it is a mystery. The book is about Joan who's Brother and Boyfriend go missing. Joan's family  thought it had to be an accident they all thought they had to be dead but Mr. Brown calls and said that Larry Joan's Brother owed him over 2,000 dollars, well it turns out that Larry's Job was delivering Marijuana too party's. He owed 2,000 dollars in Marijuana. Well when Him and Dan Joan's boyfriend went on a camping trip Larry pushed Dan into  a cliff, so that he would hit his head and not remember a thing. He drove him out to California and they started new lives. While Everyone at home suffers thinking they are dead or something. You will have to read the book to find out the ending. I think the authors purpose for writing this book is to create a mystery and a great read and it teaches people not to just run away from there problems. I would say the theme of this book represents acceptance, peer pressure, and revenge. It was a well written interesting mystery, it wasn't scary, but you were always asking yourself what, who, when, how ,why.

  The narrator makes it sound cold and mysterious which it is, the author gave plenty of explanations to help you understand the story, the argument in the book would be if they were dead or alive. I think the book was interesting, accurate, it had great objectives, important, thorough, and useful, i think all the authors arguments were right and true, the same thing with her opinions, i agreed with almost all of them, because they were all the same things i was thinking about as i was reading, i think the book gives you great visualizations in your head the book had many things going on at once and there wasn't a boring moment, there were many possibilities and things i thought that weren't true which i like that it kind of drones on even though you just want it to end, there were no problems left unsolved, there were no unconvincing points the book was excellent. Lois Duncan means different things to different people she has written over 50 books and won many awards, she attracts young adults, she has an interesting writing process, she has a great reputation, she is qualified, a great influence, and a great background, she liked reading books like her own when she was young and that's why she wrote books like this.

Am I Proud Of My Country?

Authors note: I wrote this because I wanted to show why i am proud of my country

I am proud of my country because we are free and anybody can do anything. Electing Barack Obama was a good thing for this country it shows people you can become anything you want to be. We suffered a lot of stuff throughout the years. A lot of people know a lot about patriotism because it is important a lot of people fight for our country and try there hardest to win. People in the war shouldn’t die the way they die. A lot of people are very patriotic. That’s why we celebrate Memorial Day. A lot of people look up to god and our    country. Our flag was still there when we fought our hardest. People in every state believe in patriotism. Patriotism is authentic.

 People in the United States believe in patriotism. A lot of people have pins they wear that symbolize it. Eagles also represent patriotism. A lot of stores are closed on patriotic holidays. A lot of people celebrate on patriotic holiday.Most people spend time with their family and friends on patriotic holidays. There are usually fireworks on patriotic holidays. A lot of older people know more about patriotism then younger people. It shows people they can do anything they set their minds to. A lot of people are rock solid serious about patriotism.

Some people in other countries don’t understand why we celebrate it like we do. When you’re a Girl Scout or Boy Scout you learn a lot about pride and patriotism. A lot of people are proud to be Americans. They have a national museum of patriotism. A lot of people keep memories of the day the twin towers fell.Or other bad things that have happened to our country because it is shocking and a lot of people had hope for our country.                  

Friends

Authors note: I wrote about friends because I always think about my friends from my old school and I am always worried about making new friends at this school so I wrote about the qaulitys of a good friend and this is exactly what my best friend is like.

I think that people walk in and out of your life but a best friend stays in your life. They are true to you. You should use your head when it comes to friends. They have a special place in your heart. Good friends give you good ideas and always stay in the back of your mind

You should have faith in your best friends. Having them always helps you through life and school. It is normal to have them having a friendship is beautiful. You can learn from them. Friendship is a circle of ups and downs.

Your best friend is there for you when you’re sick they always come through whether you need comforting or notes taken. They should be the best flower in your garden of friendship. You should be comfortable with your friend and never have to sit in silence. They don’t walk behind you they don’t walk in front of you they walk right next to you. They should be better than the friend that isn’t loyal that doesn’t stick with you or the friend that doesn’t risk there life for you

You and your best friend should share smiles, wipe each other’s tears away, and your friendship should grow through the years, your friendship should be the most wonderful part of your life. They are your star. You don’t need a lot of things you just need your friend by your side. They should never be able to say or do anything to make you mad or sad. They should be there for you, you should be able to tell them any secret, and talk about anything, talk about dreams and wishes, someone that doesn’t hide things from you, always holds your hand, could stare at the sky with you forever, stays by you, doesn’t do anything but smile with you, stays in your heart, never goes away and is there when you need them. Your friend is like your guardian angel.

Your friend holds your umbrella for you in the rain. They should be there with you through the hard and rough times. They should be your 4 leaf clover. Your friend should be like the sun. they should love you for who you are.
